Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and well-known comedians. Bea has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea was able to begin her stand-up comedian in 2011. After 2012 she had been appearing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar shows. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on numerous panel shows for which she is now a regular. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is a popular contestant of the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea, her maiden name, pays tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born woman. She was born March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian took his life at the age of three. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed away until she turned 13. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and she adopted the stage name Bea in tribute. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised within the home of Helen Moloney who was a instructor and trainer of jockeys who was also a professional jockey. The family was in love with racing meetings and horses. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her beginning years. But she was aware it wasn't something she wanted to pursue for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
