Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born the only child to Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her showbiz career from a young age. By the time she turned 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. Her critically acclaimed performance in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including that of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. The projects include British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Additionally, she was a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
